Aloha HAAS Families,
We understand that navigating the effects of Hurricane Lala has been difficult, and we want you to know that we are here for you. Now more than ever, attendance is important, and we are excited to welcome students back on campus!
We will be hosting a family event at the HAAS Main Campus Pavilion on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 2:30–3:30 PM. This is a time to meet our counselors, learn about attendance practices, and resources here at our school. We will also be joined by representatives from Neighborhood Place of Puna, who will have their Mobile Family Resource Center (MFRC) to provide emergency supplies, activities, and resources for our families.
Food and refreshments will be provided, including pizza and some non-perishable snack items for families, while supplies last. If you are planning on coming and want pizza — please RSVP HERE by Monday August 31st so we can determine how much pizza to order. Even if you forget to RSVP, please feel free to still join!
We understand that some 'Ohana programs may have different end times, so please join us even if you're running a little late.
Our Quarter 1 Counseling Center Newsletter is now available and includes resources on attendance, emotional well-being support, and information about your counselors this year.
